Chat Routing

Connect with people on your website with the help of samespace widget. To setup chat widget follow the below steps.

To access this section, navigate to the menu section by clicking the menu icon next to your profile picture. From the dropdown, select the Webchat link.

Then click on + to create a new chat widget

Add new widget

Add your website URL, origin country and route to team or flow.

Routung

Setup appearance for the widget. You can choose from predefined colors or choose your brands hex color. Uploading logo helps to build connection with your audience.

Add Welcome Message and automatic message. You can see preview of this messsages on right hand side. also you can ask visitors to leave their feedback by enabling request for feedback option.

Chat Greetings

Customer Feedback is optional. Admin will receive customer feedback on the email.

Capture customer's basic info by enabling the below option. You can ask for email, phone number and name. If enabled Customer need to fill out the info to start the new conversation.

provide an offline message. This message will be shown when no live agents are available to take the chat.

Offline behaviour

Note that Offline behaviour and Collect User options is only available when chat widget is routed to a team.

After creating the widget user must add the samespace code snippet in their webpage. The code snippet is available in How to Install Samespace Widget Section.
